About Us The Redwood Area Hospital is a non-profit Critical Access Hospital owned and operated by the City of Redwood Falls. The hospital was purchased in 1942 from local physicians and a new hospital was built in 1952. Continued growth, need for expanded services and new technology have resulted in additions to the facility in 1968 and again in 2000. The hospital is currently in the midst of building renovations of the patient room areas and therapy areas which will assist us in providing appropriate care well into the future. With a goal of providing quality care close to home, the Redwood Area Hospital offers a wide variety of services to clients.
