About Us

Redwood Area Hospital is a non-profit Critical Access Hospital owned and operated by the City of Redwood Falls.

The hospital was purchased in 1942 from local physicians and a new hospital was built in 1952. Continued growth, need for expanded services and new technology have resulted in renovations to the facility in 1968, 200 and 2008.

With a goal of providing quality care close to home, Redwood Area Hospital offers a wide variety of services to clients. Inpatient, Outpatient, Outreach, Skilled Swing Bed/Transition Care, and Home & Community Based services are all available.
