Biotherapy Biotherapy, also called immunotherapy helps the body’s immune system find and attack cancer cells. Biotherapy agents are derived from human or animal proteins. Biotherapy is given in the Cancer Care Center through an I.V. Like chemotherapy the length of time and frequency of biotherapy will depend on the type of cancer and how your oncologist prescribes the medication.
