How Does
Hospice Work?
When in inquiry concerning Hospice care is received, a Hospice nurse
will explain the Hospice program to the client and their family.
The nurse will also talk with the family physician and receive the
Hospice care order.
When a decision to receive Hospice care is made, a nurse will admit
the client to Hospice care and make a plan with the client and
family that will meet their individual needs.
