Hospice Jewelry Fundraiser

The Redwood Area Hospital Hospice program is sponsoring a fundraiser by selling jewelry hand crafted by local artist Sue Penkert from Bird Island.  Proceeds from the jewelry will go to the Hospice program.

All jewelry is made with Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls and sterling silver.

About the artist:
Sue Penkert began creating beautiful bead jewelry about 4 years ago when her three daughters took her to a bead store to look at all the interesting things.  She bought some beads and made her first bracelets that day and has enjoyed it so much that she has never stopped.

Sue says, "there is nothing I enjoy more than creating a piece of jewelry that will put a smile on someone's face."  When not creating beautiful jewelry, Sue is also the bookkeeper at St. Mary's School and Church.
