Test Preparation

1. Please bring a list of your medications.
    
2. Do not use tobacco products eight hours before the test.
    
3. Do not take the following medications eight hours before the test:
   
   Albuterol (Proventil, Ventolin)
   
   Pirbuterol (Maxair)
   
   Ipratropium bromide (Atrovent)
   
   Combivent
   
   Other:
   
   *If you think you may have breathing difficulty without these medications, please talk with your provider before scheduling the test.
   
   If you use these medications before the test, the test may need to be rescheduled.
    
4. Continue to take your other medications unless your provider has told you differently.
    
5. Wear loose fitting clothing so that your breathing will be easier.
