RE: New Foundation Board Members

The Redwood Area Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the
addition of two new members to their Board of Directors: Bob
Plaetz and Blair Anderson. They will be replacing retiring
members Jan Madsen and Phil Martin.
Bob Plaetz is a lifetime resident of Lucan and is vice-president
of Lucan State Bank. Blair Anderson is a farmer and pork
producer near Fairfax, which he has done for the last 28 years.
They have both agreed to sit on the board for at least the next
three years. These positions are voluntary and no compensation
is given to foundation board members. Their role as a board
member is to guide the foundation with budget planning and
developing fundraisers for the foundation.
The Redwood Area Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic arm of
the Redwood Area Hospital that supports the endeavor to live out
their mission of “Caring People . . . Caring for People”. The
mission of the foundation is to provide opportunity for
charitable giving that will increase awareness of the Redwood
Area Hospital and community health needs. This funding will be
used to enhance patient care by supporting professional health
care education, community health and hospital services.
