RE: Foundation Campaign
DATE: December 4, 2007
The Redwood Area Hospital Foundation would like to announce
their 2007 year-end fundraising campaign. The theme for this
year’s campaign is “A Partnership in Caring”.
The Redwood Area Hospital Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt
corporation formed in 2001 to receive benevolent funds to
benefit the Redwood Area Hospital to carry out the mission of
“Caring People…Caring for People Conveniently Close to Home”.
The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors
which includes people from Redwood Falls and the surrounding
communities. The board makes decisions on fundraising and the
use of funds donated, with a focus on enhancing patient care by
supporting health care education, community health and hospital
services.
In the past year, the Foundation has awarded scholarships to two
high school seniors entering medical fields, helped to furnish
the new patient rooms, purchased hats for cancer patients
dealing with the effects of chemotherapy, and much more.
The Foundation is looking for the support of the residents of
Redwood Falls and the surrounding communities to assist them in
accomplishing their goal of improving the health for the entire
area in 2008.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the
Foundation, please contact Karen Melges, Foundation Director at
507-637-4668. You can also find a donation form on the
Foundation section of our
website.
The Foundation would like to thank everyone for the support and
commitment they have given to the Redwood Area Hospital. Gifts
will make a difference to the people of our area for years to
come. |
