| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM: Shelly Pauling, Education & Communications Manager RE: Adult Grief Support Group in Sleepy Eye DATE: April 2, 2007 Redwood Falls, MN. The Redwood Area Hospital Hospice announces that an Adult Grief Support Group will be held on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30-4pm starting on April 24, 2007 and continuing through May 29, 2007. This 6-week series will be held at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center in the Union Room. The Redwood Area Adult Grief Support Group is a self-help group for adults grieving the death of a loved one. This group will offer support, friendship, information and an opportunity to talk or listen with other people who are grieving. Topics that will be explored are: Identifying and Expressing Feelings, Exploring Unfinished Business, Recreating Memories and Managing Self Care. Discussion and sharing groups will be led by Hospice staff from the Redwood Area Hospital and the Divine Providence Nursing Home. All adults from this area who are grieving the death of a loved one are welcome and encouraged to attend these sessions. There is no cost for this support group.
