Shelly Pauling, Education & Communications Manager from the Redwood Area Hospital has recently been elected to serve as Webmaster for the Minnesota Health Strategy & Communications Network (MHSCN). Shelly has served as a MHSCN board member representing Region 5 (Southwest MN) for the past two years. MHSCN board members come from numerous organizations representing every region of the state. MHSCN operates with the support of the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA), which also serves as its home base. The purpose of this nonprofit organization is to foster awareness and understanding of health care strategic planning, marketing and public relations projects, programs and activities; provide educational opportunities designed to improve professional skills of the health care strategic planning, marketing, communications and public relations practitioner; improve the image and credibility of health care strategic planning, public relations, communications and marketing practitioners and to enhance and promote the organization to its members and to other related organizations.
