RE: Bike Rodeo
DATE: May 23, 2007
Redwood Falls, MN. A Bike Rodeo will be held for bikers and
scooters of any age on June 5, 2007 from 5:30-8:00pm at the
Redwood Area Community Center North Parking Lot.
Activities will
include bike safety information, head injury prevention, free
helmet fittings, helmet decoration station, and Rodeo obstacle
course. Helmets are required to participate in this bike rodeo.
This year 60 bike helmet will be given away while supplies last.
Each child that comes to the rodeo is eligible to win prizes
that will be given away including 2 twelve inch bicycles, 2
sixteen inch bicycles, 2 twenty inch bicycles, and 2 twenty-four
inch bikes. Participants must be present at the time of the
drawing to win prizes.
This event is sponsored by the Helmets for Kids, Monsanto,
Redwood Area Hospital, Redwood Area Community Center, Redwood
Falls Police Department, Redwood County Public Health, and the
Bike and Hike Association.
In case of rain, this event will be held in the Redwood Area
Community Center Arena. If more information is needed concerning
