The Redwood Area Hospital would like to announce the latest recipient of the Nursing Excellence Award which was recently given to Kim Harnack, RN. Kim works in the hospital acute care and obstetrical departments and has been employed at the Redwood Area Hospital for the past four and a half years. Excellence in Nursing emerges in Kim by her demonstration of patient centered care and best nursing practice. Her commitment to continued learning and career development is consistently observed in the nursing care she provides to patients in all areas of the acute care setting. Additionally, Kim is participating in the development of the obstetrical staff by becoming a trainer with Noelle, a labor and delivery simulator. Through her kind and caring manner, Kim exemplifies the nursing department mission by serving with excellence, responding with compassion, listening with attention, touching with respect and treating with expertise. Kim deserves the many words of thanks that she receives from our patients as well as a thank you from Redwood Area Hospital for her display of Nursing Excellence. |
