RE: Adult Grief Support Group

The Redwood Area Hospital Hospice announces that an Adult Grief Support Group will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm starting on October 2, 2007 and continuing through November 6, 2007. This 6-week series will be held in the Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connection Room.

The Redwood Area Adult Grief Support Group is a self-help group for adults grieving the death of a loved one. This group will offer support, friendship, information and an opportunity to talk or listen with other people who are grieving. Topics that will be explored are: Identifying and Expressing Feelings, Exploring Unfinished Business, Recreating Memories and Managing Self Care.

Discussion and sharing groups will be led by Joleen Johnson, Licensed Social Worker, and Pamela Neet, Liscensed Social Worker, from the Redwood Area Hospital Social Services Department.
