| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM: Shelly Pauling, Education & Communications Manager RE: Open House Tours DATE: September 6, 2007 The Redwood Area Hospital staff would cordially like to invite you to get a first-hand look at our new inpatient rooms during our open house on Thursday, September 13, 2007 from 5:30-7:30pm. During this time, tours will be offered every fifteen minutes and will leave from the main east lobby. During phase one, contractor crews have been working on remodeling the inpatient rooms on the north end of the hospital, adding mechanical infrastructure on the third floor as well as remodeling the therapy and business office areas. The end of phase one means that the inpatient rooms on the north end of the hospital will be ready for public use towards the end of September, with the completion of the therapy areas and the business office soon to follow. The new patient rooms are significantly larger and provide a more private patient area, working area for the physicians and nurses as well as a family area. Bathrooms and shower areas are larger as well to provide safer care for patients during their stay. Come and see the new design which has been termed “beautiful, yet functional”.
