| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM: Shelly Pauling, Education & Communications Manager RE: Hospital Foundation Fundraiser DATE: April 16, 2008 The Redwood Area Hospital Foundation is holding a fundraiser at Jackpot Junction on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to purchase an airpal transfer mattress and pump system. In the past, donations have enabled the foundation to fund needs in Caring Connection (adult day services program), cancer care, hospice, diabetes education, surgical services as well as in other areas of the hospital. Last year the proceeds were used to purchase furnishings for the new family waiting area. Tickets can be purchased from Foundation Board members or by calling Karen, Melges, Foundation Director at 507-637-4668. Tickets can also be purchased at the Casino the night of the event. Donations to the foundation are tax deductible. Come out for the fundraiser on April 28, 2008 at Jackpot Junction starting at 4:30 p.m. and help the Redwood Area Hospital Foundation raise money for the Redwood Area Hospital’s airpal transfer mattress & pump system. |
