| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM: Shelly Pauling, Education & Communications Manager RE: Upcoming Car Seat Clinic in Wabasso DATE: April 30, 2008 A car seat clinic will be held in Wabasso on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Wabasso School Garage from 5:00-7:00pm. The Redwood Area Hospital along with Redwood County Public Health will have certified car seat technicians on-site to check to see if your car seats are secured properly in your vehicle. Installations will be done by appointment only. At your appointment, the technicians will make sure you have the correct car seat for your child and that it is properly installed in the vehicle. During this time, they will also be instructing parents on how to replicate the installation at home. This service is free. The car seat technicians will need ½ hour per car per seat and possibly longer if there are any compatibility issues. The upcoming Child Restraint Clinic is sponsored by the Redwood Area Hospital, Scott Preusse, Inc. of Redwood Falls, Redwood County Public Health, Wabasso ECFE and the Minnesota SAFE KIDS Coalition.
