The Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections program and Redwood County Volunteers are co-sponsoring a series of educational classes related to memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The classes will be offered free of charge to families, caregivers, and volunteers.

Join us for the next education session on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 2-3:00pm at the Redwood Area Hospital. The topic “Caregiving and the Holidays” will be presented by Chaplin Mary Pauluk. Chaplin Mary has been a certified chaplain for St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield since 1999. She has also worked in senior housing and served as a pastoral minister within the Catholic Church.

This class will be held in the Redwood Area Hospital Education Room (please use the west entrance on Gould Street). In order to provide adequate seating, pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Respite care for your loved one is also available during the education session but you must pre-register.
