RE: Veteran's Benefits Facts
DATE: February 3, 2009

The Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections program and Redwood County Volunteers are co-sponsoring a series of educational classes related to memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Join us for the next education session on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 2-3:00pm. The topic “Veteran’s Benefits Facts” will be presented by Martin Caraway, Veteran’s Service Officer.

When it comes to Veteran's benefits, there are many unanswered questions. Martin Caraway will give a summary of benefits available and how to get the process started for Veteran's. This session is free an open to the public to not only caregivers of Veteran's but also to all Veteran's that are interested in receiving more information.

This class will be held in the Redwood Area Hospital Education Room (please use the west entrance on Gould Street). In order to provide adequate seating, pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Respite care for your loved one is also available during the education session but you must pre-register.

To pre-register, please contact Lynn Buckley, Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections Coordinator at 507-637-4508 or Karen Christensen at 507-627-1016.
