RE: Bike Rodeo

A Bike Rodeo will be held for bikers of any age on June 9, 2009
from 5:30-7:00pm at the Redwood Area Community Center North
Parking Lot. Activities will include bike safety information,
head injury prevention, free helmet fittings, helmet decoration
station, lawnmower safety, booster seat safety and 2 rodeo
obstacle courses. Helmets are required to participate in this
bike rodeo. This year 65 bike helmet will be given away while
supplies last.
Each child that comes to the rodeo is eligible to win prizes
that will be given away including 2 sixteen inch bicycles, 2
twenty inch bicycles, and 2 twenty-four inch bikes. Participants
must be present at the time of the drawing to win prizes.
This event is free and is sponsored by the Redwood Area
Hospital, Helmets for Kids, Monsanto, Redwood Area Community
Center, Redwood Falls Police Department, Redwood County Public
Health, Bike and Hike Association, Kibble Equipment, North
Ambulance and RedBrownVille Farm Safety for Just Kids.
In case of rain, this event will be held in the Redwood Area
Community Center Arena. If more information is needed concerning
