| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM: Shelly Pauling, Education & Communications Manager RE: Cancer Survivors Picnic DATE: June 1, 2009 The Redwood Area Hospital is sponsoring a Cancer Survivor’s Celebration picnic for all cancer survivors and their families on Monday, June 22, 2009, from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the Redwood Area Hospital Education Room. This is an opportunity for persons who have been diagnosed with cancer to some together and celebrate another year of life. This celebration is a time of sharing support with others as well as a time of fun and fellowship with other survivors and their families. The Redwood Area Hospital will be furnishing Subway sandwiches, beverages, and utensils. Those attending may bring a dish to share if they wish.
