RE: Hospice Quilt Raffle
DATE: March 17, 2009
The Redwood Area Hospital Hospice Department will be sponsoring
a Quilt Raffle that will be held in conjunction with the annual
Hospice Spring Luncheon.
The quilt is a queen size log cabin design and was handmade by
Mary Jane Whitman, Redwood Area Hospital Home Care Nurse. The
quilt was stitched by Karen’s Creative Sewing in Bird Island and
the fabric was provided courtesy of Mary Jane Whitman and
Gathering Friends in Bird Island. The donated value of the quilt
is $450.00.
The raffle will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the annual
Hospice Spring Luncheon which will be held at Gloria Dei Church
in Redwood Falls, MN. Tickets for the quilt raffle can be
purchased at the Redwood Area Hospital Registration Desk, the
Redwood Falls Public Library and Connie’s Hallmark in Redwood
Falls. You do not need to be present to win.
All proceeds to benefit the Redwood Area Hospital Hospice
program.
