RE: Caregivers Education
DATE: September 9, 2009

The Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections program and Redwood County Volunteers are co-sponsoring a series of caregiver educational classes.

Join us for the next education session on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 5:30-7pm. The topic “Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate” will be presented by Gail Gilman-Waldner, Program Development and Coordination, Minnesota River Area on Aging & Professor Emeritus – University of Minnesota.

Who gets personal property is an issue frequently ignored until a crisis occurs. This presentation discusses planning the transfer of personal property.

This class will be held in the Redwood Area Hospital Education Room (please use the west entrance on Gould Street). In order to provide adequate seating, pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Respite care for your loved one is also available during the education session but you must pre-register.

To pre-register, please contact Lynn Buckley, Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections Coordinator at 507-637-4508 or Karen Christensen at 507-627-1016.
