RE: Caregiver Education Class
DATE: October 26, 2009

The Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections program and Redwood County Volunteers are co-sponsoring a series of caregiver educational classes.

Join us for the next education session on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from Noon – 1:30pm. The topic “What’s New in Medicare for 2010” will be presented by Gail Radke, Senior Outreach Specialist from Slayton Office of Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging. A light meal will be provided.

This presentation will provide information on all parts of Medicare including Medicare Part D. Those in attendance will be able to ask questions as time allows. Attendees will also have an opportunity to visit one-on-one with trained staff and volunteers.

This class will be held in the Redwood Area Hospital Education Room (please use the west entrance on Gould Street). In order to provide adequate seating, pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Respite care for your loved one is also available during the education session but you must pre-register.

To pre-register, please contact Lynn Buckley, Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections Coordinator at 507-637-4508 or Karen Christensen at 507-627-1016.
