RE: Powerful Tools for Caregivers Series

The Redwood Area Hospital Caring Connections program and Redwood
County Volunteers are co-sponsoring a series of free educational
classes for caregivers “Powerful Tools for Caregivers: Take
Better Care of Yourself and Your Loved One.”
Join us for this new education series which will be held on
Tuesdays starting September 8, 2009 through October 13, 2009.
This series will be held from 5:30-7pm in the Redwood Area
Hospital Meditation Room which is located in the main east
entrance of the building.
This education series will benefit caregivers by teaching them:
ways to reduce stress; ways to improve self-confidence; ways to
balance your life; how to better communicate your feelings; how
to increase your ability to make tough decisions and how to
locate helpful resources.
Class size is limited and registration is required. For more
information or to register, call Karen Christensen at
507-627-1016 by September 1, 2009. Funding and support is also
provided by Redwood Area Hospital, SWMN RSVP Grant from the
Minnesota Department of Human Services and Minnesota Board on
