RE: CPR for Healthcare Providers Course

The Redwood Area Hospital will be offering a full certification CPR course for healthcare providers on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 8:30-1:30pm.

This course provides information on adult and pediatric CPR, including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask. It also covers foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious), automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update), special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

This course was designed for medical professionals needing a healthcare CPR certification such as nurses, doctors, first responders, nursing students, etc. and will be taught by a certified American Heart Association Instructor. A certification card, credential, will be given to all participants.
