DATE: November 19, 2009

Are you taking frequent IV medications? Would you like to have those treatments close to home? If you have a chronic or acute medical diagnosis that requires you to have on-going IV medication such as Remicade, Boniva, Orencia, Venofer, Solumedrol, antibiotics and other IV or chemotherapy medications; we can help!

Outpatient infusion therapy is an option that is now available for you at the Redwood Area Hospital 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Have a busy schedule? We can administer your treatment when it is most convenient for you! During your treatment you can relax in our newly remodeled, designated area for IV therapy with your own personal TV and comfortable heated, reclining chairs.
We will work directly with your local physician or out-of-town specialist to administer a treatment that has been designed just for you.

Frequency can vary depending on your needs. We can provide IV therapy for you daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. We also offer monthly port flushes, wound dressing changes, and Lovenox injections. Chemotherapy infusions are also available by appointment during the Cancer Center hours.

If you would like more information, call Kris Garman, RN, Patient Care Coordinator at 507-637-4680 or call Cindy Moldan, RN, ONC, Infusion Coordinator at 507-637-4512.
