| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM: Shelly Pauling, Education & Communications Manager RE: Nursing Excellence Award - Bev Jensen, LPN DATE: October 31, 2006 The Redwood Area Hospital would like to announce the latest recipient of the Nursing Excellence Award which was recently given to Bev Jensen, LPN. Bev works in the hospital surgery department and has been employed at the Redwood Area Hospital for the past eight years. Excellence in Nursing emerges in Bev through her determination towards becoming an excellent scrub nurse. She consistently displays qualities of advocacy, compassion, thoroughness and good interdepartmental communication skills. Bev has been and continues to be an observant, conscientious, pro-active dependable member of the surgical team. Not only is she an active member of the surgical department, Bev is a willing participant in other areas of the hospital such as the Employee Activity Committee and Flu Shot Clinics. Through her commitment to quality, Bev exemplifies the nursing department mission by serving with excellence, responding with compassion, listening with attention, touching with respect and treating with expertise. Bev, deserves the many words of thanks that she receives from our patients as well as a thank you from Redwood Area Hospital for her display of Nursing Excellence. |
